Portable solar battery chargers
Though solar battery chargers have been around for decades, its popularity has increased significantly in just two years. This is due in part to advances in technology, and partly due to our increased awareness of the need to switch to cleaner energy sources renewable.
Technological advances have reduced the size and weight of solar panels, while increasing efficiency. This allows small solar chargers lightweight portable that will occur. Another factor that plays a role in the rapidly expanding field of solar cell energy, is the largest amount of electronics we lead.
Twenty years ago there were many people walking around with mobile phones. Today, cell phone player, iPod or MP3 player, digital camera tend to be less than than us – either on a daily basis or during vacations or when traveling.
With all these devices electronics is the need for electricity and energy. And, portable solar chargers have found their niche.
There are several advantages to solar chargers computers laptops and solar panels. First, are the eco / environmental. They do not produce hazardous waste and can be used whenever there is sunlight.
Many people think that solar chargers can be used in hot sunny places. It is not necessarily true. Solar panels are more effective at low temperatures. In fact, a panel solar charger would create more electricity on a clear day in Alaska, would be in the sunny desert of Arizona. Since the temperature of the solar panel influences the effectiveness with which can convert solar energy into electrical energy.
The above fact, combined with the increased efficiency of solar panels, solar chargers have an attractive method of feeding or recharging small electronic devices.
These days, a small solar battery charger can operate your phone cell phone, iPod or MP3 player. You can recharge your digital camera and can be used to recharge the batteries.
Some solar chargers, such as the Solio Charger, even come with internal batteries that are loaded automatically when the solar charger is exposed to daylight – allowing you to recharge your cell phone or charger any other electronic device Solar thereafter. Solar chargers with built-in batteries usually store sufficient energy to charge your phone cell twice or to run an MP3 player or iPod for several hours. A digital camera can also be fully recharged by one of these devices.
Solar Chargers begin to be part of many standard emergency equipment. They are a reliable source of energy while there is daylight available.
